Mara Levy La Porta

Mara La Porta is primarily a marital and family law attorney with nearly 20 years of experience. She has represented clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody and support, domestic violence, property division, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, paternity, parental relocation with children and enforcement of support obligations. She also is engaged in the collaborative practice of family law, and civil litigation.   

Mara was born in Seaford, New York in 1975. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University in 1978 and her J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University in 2002. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002. She is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, and is a member of the Florida and Sarasota County Bar Associations. Mara is a principal in the firm.
